MDW Associates leadership from across the country gathered on May 5 at our Huntsville, Alabama, location for a Leadership Summit. The day-long event sought to increase teamwide understanding of MDW’s expanding portfolio of services and share managerial lessons learned from the diverse government client base. Also, during this event MDW senior manager and recent graduate of Coach U, Tom Plant, presented “Coaching to Enhance and Develop MDW Leaders,” which helped the team appreciate how the process of professional coaching often unlocks previous untapped sources of productivity and success. After the Summit, the MDW team enjoyed a catered picnic at the stadium of Huntsville’s minor league baseball team, the Rocket City Trash Pandas.
“We thought it was especially important to bring the team together given the disruption from the pandemic over the last few years,” VP of Corporate Operations Shilo Hicks said. Ms. Hicks, along with Operations Analyst Katherine Haydel, coordinated the event.
“This summit was very successful,” MDW President/CEO, Tim Wilde added. “The hearing directly from leaders within the company is important to MDW’s success, and this event re-affirmed that our team is fully engaged in making every employee the best they can be.”
